Dose Insight receives a Phase I SBIR grant from the FDA
We are happy to announce that we received another Phase I SBIR grant from the FDA! In this grant we are developing a software to generate possible positions of devices in their packaging which can significantly deviate from the ideal position represented in a CAD model. With that we can simulate realistic device configurations in their package as they are going through sterilization using our virtual dose mapping tool.
Dose Insight at MD&M West
Dose Insight will be attending MD&M West in Anaheim from Feb. 6-8, 2024! We will be at SteriTek's booth (2566). Find out how virtual dose mapping can save you time and money!
Dose Insight receives $1.4M in non-dilutive funding
We are happy to announce that we received a $1.4 million Phase II SBIR grant from the FDA! This funding will allow us to fully develop our virtual dose mapping software. This grant was in response to a call from the FDA, wherein they expressed the need to develop computer modelling tools that help with regulatory decision making.
2023 Fermilab Medical Device Sterilization Workshop
We were fortunate to give a presentation entitled 'Finding the optimal sterilization configuration using simulations' at the 2023 Medical Device Sterilization Workshop.
Please use the link to watch a video of our presentation!
2022 Fermilab Medical Device Sterilization Workshop
Dose Insight outlined our concept of Design for Sterilization in a presentation at the 2022 Fermilab Medical Device Sterilization Workshop.
In this presentation, we drew parallels with other industries, such as injection molding and data center cooling, that evolved from rules-of-thumb based design to modeling-based design.
Talk at the ASTM committee week, New Orleans 2022
We had the honor to present our thoughts on Design for Sterilization to the ASTM standards committee E61 (radiation processing).
The talk was well received and sparked a very interesting discussion with lots of new inputs.
Take a look at our presentation slides for our thoughts on Design for Sterilization.
Plenary talk at IMRP 20
We shared our progress in developing our virtual dose mapping tool at the International Meeting on Radiation Processing (IMRP) in 2022. In this talk, we shared some background into the concept of virtual dose mapping and presented different ways to accelerated radiation-matter simulations. A pre-recorded video of our plenary presentation is available.
